A Real Beauty
Upon its global debut in January 2019, the TOYOTA GR Supra created a worldwide buzz. Now, it appears as an R/C model assembly kit. The sensuous long nose, short deck form with striking double-bubble roof is recreated in lightweight and durable polycarbonate, with separate polycarbonate front and rear light cases, plus molded plastic side mirrors. Stickers are included in the kit to depict details such as wipers and emblems, and the car is based upon the reliable and beginner-friendly TT-02 chasssis.
★The dynamic, sensuous lines of this stunning car are captured realistically by the model's polycarbonate body.
★Separate polycarbonate light cases are combined with stickers to give the headlights a truly authentic look.
★Side mirrors are painted in Black and Semi-Gloss Black, with sticker applied. Even the triple ridges are depicted!
★Left: The "double bubble" roof is perhaps the most striking design feature, and is of course depicted in style.
★Right: Clear red sections allow inspection of taillight detail. The rear duck tail, diffuser and more are captured.
TT-02: Adaptable, balanced shaft driven 4WD
The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. 10-spoke wheels feature rim stickers and are paired with tread-patterned racing radial tires.
★Resin ball links in the steering linkage joints make for smooth, comfortable motion.
★Gearbox covers can be removed simply with the loosening of screws on the frame.
★Stylish wheel hubs are designed to look like brake discs, giving your car another layer of realism.
★Left: A case is included to keep the all-important receiver protected from dust and dirt.

The Supra has not been in production since 2002 and Toyota has brought it back thanks to a collaborative effort with BMW. The chassis, drivetrain, and engine are based on the BMW Z4. The body and suspension tuning were developed by Toyota to give the Supra a distinctive and classic Toyota sporty feel. Tamiya has faithfully recreated the Supra for radio control enthusiasts with a polycarbonate body that captures the sleek lines and it sits on top the easy to build and drive TT-02 chassis.

This updated stylish version of Midnight Pumpkin features all the popular characteristics of the original, combined with a black-metallic body and silver-plated wheels for a more eye-catching appearance. The body and parts H and J are plated using an advanced vacuum plating technique. Other parts remain the same as the original kit, with new packaging used to easily distinguish this limited item from the original kit version.
